I thought the WR's played well across the board, Chark with some nice deep plays and Westbrook and Conley both getting TD's. 

I'll calm in a few days and put into context it's the Chiefs but I'm waiting to see how this team responds in Houston. That will tell you a lot about that locker room.

As for your closing sentence, I agree how this team responds next week will tell us a lot.

I can take it if we lose the game as long as we play well.

If defensively, we make Houston earn everything and not give up anything cheap like seemingly everything in the first half, and offensively we give good effort and no stupid plays, then I won't be happy, but I won't be out for blood. 

But if the team looks like they have mailed it in, there will be a problem.

I don't think we have coaches to reel in the head cases we have on defense. That was an embarrassing showing by Jack. KC got away with a lot and that sucks. The NFL has problems overall. And to loose the broadcast truck? Dang CBS.

Going to be an interesting watch this season. I don't have much confidence in the coaches or front office. I am not sure who we could get to come in so we are looking at more of the same. Just glad to have football again overall.

Regarding depth, I will repeat a point I made in my initial post.  If Richardson continues to play weal and stays healthy, and if Cam Robinson and Ogbuehi can return healthy, we'll have some good depth at G and T.

By this time next year, we'll have depth at QB too.
