'Storm Area 51': About 100 people gathered at secret site’s gate to 'see them aliens,' 2 people detained, reports say

As the day of “Storm Area 51” arrived, a motley group of about 100 “alien-chasers” converged on the back gate of the secret site early Friday, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. At least two people were reportedly detained by local sheriff's deputies.

People are so stupid. Undoubtedly, some idiots are gonna go too far and something bad is gonna happen. Even if by some miracle, a ton of them made it all the way to the base, they would find nothing, but experimental aircraft. With all the publicity over the last few years about area 51, the aliens have been moved to a more secretive, secure base. All this hype for nothing.

I just saw a news report and it was pretty much all losers who showed up. I like to do quirky fun stuff myself, but to go that far out of your way to attend something so senseless indicates a rudderless life.
