Yeah Taylor has been bad too, most of the line has. But that's to be expected of a rookie tackle. That's why I said Cam might have struggled as a rookie but you can give that a pass as it's expected.  

It's now year 3 (and yes the ACL is a factor) and he isn't a good enough LT. It's definitely a need this offseason based on what we've seen so far, hopefully he'll improve and make it less a need as the weeks go by.

Wonder how they got 3 more penalties on Cam than PFR

Taylor has given up 4 sacks, Norwell 3, Minshew himself was responsible for 5. Robinson 3. Richardson and Cann, two a piece.
Is Cam supposed to give up 0 sacks? Also, his 3 sacks, were they beginning of the year when I admit he wasn't playing well? Were they against Von Miller, Cam Jordan and Frank Clark? Those guys are really good.
Context matters.

Other places have 7 or 8 too.  That's a ton of penalties over the course of a full season. Especially given he's missed games and rotated some snaps.  

And no, nobody said that or even suggested it. The jags lead the league in hurries allowed , the tackles poor performance is a big part of that, as is the rest of the line and other factors like QB play (although Minshew has also done a really good job of limiting QB hits and sacks relative to pressure generally speaking).  

It's okay to say Cam has been a pretty poor pass protector this year while also acknowledging he's improved the last few weeks. It's also okay to acknowledge it might be time to upgrade a LT spot that has been a poor protecting the pass protector for years and years
