But here's the thing, the use of those names (although Redskins is a little dicey) is a connotation of bravery, fierceness and perseverance. Add that to the fact that there are many Native Americans who don't take offense to use of the names.

If these teams really want to keep their names then they should follow FSU's lead and coordinate with NA groups to cultivate an image most can agree on. Not everyone will agree, but if it's beneficial to both sides, why not?
I was referring to Redskins. I’m fine with the rest but Redskins it’s pretty terrible.

Putting Warriors in the same group as Redskins is reaching prettay prettay far IMO.

I've always believed team names should be representative of a team's area. Although, the only Jaguars in Jacksonville are the four-wheeled versions, and a few sad kitties at the zoo. Plus, Feckless Bureaucrats just doesn't have a good ring to it for Washington.

At a quick glance, about 2/3rds of the NFL should change their team name lol

I mean, when's the last time you saw a pirate in Las Vegas? Or a tiger in Cincinnati? Or any living thing in Arizona?

They should modify their name to the One-Armed Raiders.

1)  I'm not sure the shrimp around here are really that big.

2)  All the words I associate with Washington would probably get caught in a profanity filter, but for the logo, may I suggest a taxpayer in a bent over position?

I have two suggestions for renaming the team in Maryland that is not the Ravens.
Keep the nickname skins, but change the full name to Pigskins!
And the other is for a full rebrand, the Washington Generals, in honor of the original General Washington.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Bob Dylan is a racist.

George Washington was a slave owner and deserves no honor.

Washington Generals is already taken. That's the team that plays the Globetrotters.

I suggest keeping the name Redskins but using the old Coppertone girl as the logo. Having the team cheerleaders sport that look would be even better.

...and now some MTG cards are being banned.

I'll give them that Invoke Prejudice could be construed as being slightly offensive, but cards like Crusade and Stone Throwing Devils?

Coming from a longtime MTG player, this is getting beyond ridiculous.
