Any other team would feel the pressure to eventually start a former league MVP who’s made a pretty penny during his career as a star QB.
The Patriots however, won’t take that into consideration. Their only priority is starting the guy who they believe will give them the best chance to win (or not lose) games. No politics involved. It’s interesting, because Cam isn’t really the kind of QB that I think Belichick would want. He’s got plenty of bad habits. Holds the ball too long, takes chances, is a fairly inaccurate passer. If Stidham Or Hoyer looks better in camp, they’ll start either one. Cam certainly has to earn it |
