Common sense. I don't doubt that JIB had to take a parent away from a child once or twice. However, I am sure that it was incidental to his job, and I'm sure he was just trying to detain a parent for a specific violent crime, and I'm sure the kid was brought to a family member as soon as possible.

I'm sure you don't know jack [BLEEP] about it.

It's weird to hear you talk about common sense. I am not sure you possess even an ounce of it.

A mother holding her child while sitting on a concrete floor behind a chain link fence is sad.
A bunch of 3 and 4 year olds in that same cage, who were torn out of their parents arms, by officers collecting US government salaries, is criminal.  Morally reprehensible. Not just sad.
I agree that the images you mention are sad but maybe you should blame the irresponsible criminal mothers and fathers for putting themselves in those positions.

Back to the DNC, tv ratings at a .3 for 18-49.
Is that on one or all networks? Shows with a .3 all get canceled.

Evidently, I possess some that you lack.

It's amazing to hear you speak so confidently about something you don't know.

Taking kids away from parents, during arrests, happens all the time. It doesn't have to be a violent crime. It isn't simply incidental to the job. And they don't always go back to a family member.

0% of the time does a child accompany the parent to jail.

No. You take the parent away, but you leave the kid with another family member. They always try to find a family member to bring the kid to. Local police don't want kids in their jails or at their stations.  It's not a daycare service.

What a [BLEEP] show the DNC is turning out to be, but I will say that if Trump had even 1/4 of Clinton's charisma he'd be hailed as one of the best Presidents ever. On the other hand, Biden and his wife have all the likeability of a bed sore.

Did AOC endorse Bernie for POTUS tonight?

Jill Biden cheated on her ex husband with Joe in the 70's.

Children ended up in those cages, without their parents, while Obama was President.
But only if they arrived without their parents.
Obama kept families together if they arrived together.
Trump made it a rule to separate them.

This is one of those areas where I agree with the Republicans. Illegals are criminals. We have a process that you have to follow to become a citizen. Illegals do not respect our laws and think they can "jump the line" ahead of hard working immigrants, who do things the right way to become citizens. They disrespect our ways and they disrespect legal immigrants who work their butts off to become an American. If these illegals don't wanna be separated from their children, they need to follow the rules of our nation. Personally, I wouldn't detain them at all. I would just escort them back over the border with a tracking chip to make sure they didn't try and sneak back over. If people trespass on my land, I don't imprison them, but I sure as heck don't let them stay either. I just make sure they leave my property and remind them that they just used their one warning. If they come back, what happens is not on me. That is the type of policy we should implement.

No? No to which part?

They don’t always find another relative, and the police wouldn’t be the one watching the kid.

So AOC went through with nominating Bernardo Sandersnista. I will give her credit, she has a nice rack and the dazzling lack of intellect to go with it. She also is unhesitatingly honest about what she is and what she intends, unlike the rest of her party who still pretend they don't dream of our future as the new Soviet Union.

Wonder if that counts the 2 seconds at ~ 9:15pm when I accidentally clicked the DNC icon on YouTubeTV when I meant to click on the Laker-Blazers playoff game.

Probably, it would've been .216 otherwise.

LOL.  I would not be surprised if it's another sweep for President Trump just like Reagan in 1984.  There is no energy, no excitement from the democrats at all.

One thing that I notice when watching this election cycle is the clear difference between left and right.  On the right there is optimism and prosperity.  There is hope, celebration of what we as a nation have accomplished and the better outlook for a good future.  On the left it's all about what is "wrong" with the country.  No optimism unless you think that you're going to get "free stuff" from the government.

Wow just saw Bill Clinton. He looks absolutely terrible. Being married to the worst person on the planet has done a number on him.

I don't think it was his wife that "did a number on him".  If so I would feel sorry for him.
