Week 4-Sunday Games Thoughts

#1
(This post was last modified: 10-04-2020, 11:58 PM by mal234.)

Tom Brady had an impressive comeback today against the Chargers. (Though Justin Herbert continues to be impressive with them).

After tonight's win against the San Fransico the 1-2-1 Philadelphia Eagles after struggling a lot this year are now first in the NFC east division, lol. That division is rough, lol. Speaking of that division the Giants have now gone consecutive games without a TD and Washington has talked to Dwayne Haskins about how things need to change. Ron Rivera has hinted he's not afraid to move on from Dwayne, if he feels he has to. The Cowboys also lost to the Cleveland Browns even though Dak threw for over 500 yards and had four TD's.

Dak has had three consecutive games where he's thrown for over 400 yards and the Cowboys have the same records as the Jags. (1-3) I wonder if the the NFC East might end up being a division where the winner has a losing record.

Other teams that have the same or worse record than the Jags are the Lions who lost again today, Vikings, Washington, Chargers, Bengals, Dolphins and Broncos who are also 1-3. And the Texans, Giants and Jets who are 0-4. The Race to the #1 draft pick is loaded.

The Browns are having a nice start to the season at 3-1 with their win over the Cowboys, though one of their most important players (someone would argue most important) Nick Chubb injured his knee and had to leave the game. I hope he ends up being okay and things right now look promising for the Browns. OBJ is finally being utilized more in their offense. I know their fans are excited. A few years ago, I had visited some of their forums, because I liked Manziel coming out of college. And they have definitely had a lot of woes, some ups and many downs. This team looks like it could go to the playoffs this year, which would be big for them and their fanbase.

And the Bills/Seahawks and Packers are currently the only undefeated teams in the league. Which makes sense especially given how well the QB's for these teams are playing. I could see some MVP candidates coming from one of these teams. Especially for Russell Wilson who has never won it. I have always liked Russell Wilson and I like seeing him do well.

What are your thoughts on action from Week's four's slate of games?
