A month or two ago I posted a youtube link to a cut up of all Wilson's throws against Coastal Carolina.  And I thought he looked a lot better than you would you think considering the outcome of the game.  Dropped balls, crazy plays that put their offense in long yardage downs, his INT was a hail mary at the end of the 1st half which is meaningless.  And they run an offense that is very RPO heavy at times which doesnt take full advantage of his skillset.  


As far as the Lawrence / Fields debate, I'm still on the Lawrence bandwagon for the first pick in the draft.  You have to give Fields credit for playing a great game.  He really needed it after the stinkers in his two biggest games this year prior to that.  But I think the concerns about him are still legit though.  Ohio St was clearly the better team last night, ran the ball at will, and dominated Clemson's offensive line.  It was a game Fields should have excelled in.  Lots of time to throw and open receivers.  If the roles had been reversed though where Ohio St couldnt run and Fields was getting pressure on at least half of his throws, would he have been able to put up the game Lawrence did?  Or would he have had a game similar to the one he had against Northwestern?
