Mandating masks would have been a good start.

Are you saying the President should establish a single standard for the entire country, rather than leaving the decision to be made at the state and/or municipal level?  Is what's best for Douglas, ND also what's best for Chicago or LA?

What happened to individual choice and individual responsibility?  You know...  FREEDOM!  Do we really want/need a nanny government to "mandate" our decisions for us?

Exactly. Wyoming can't be compared to Louisiana.

Nothing to see here. Just a private business, taking advantage of its monopoly to manipulate the public narrative in its own interest. Just the constitution at work, guys.

Y'all ready for some expensive fuel? Democrats voting for their own financial demise is so Democrat.

The real questions is how can the Republicans be blamed for higher prices? Well, other than letting Biden steal the election...

Bidens solution: Buy a Tesla (then pay higher utility prices charging it)

Good. I'm tired of this country treating Native Americans as though they don't exist. We take their land and put them on reservations in the middle of nowhere with no opportunities and then decide to run a pipeline through their land without even allowing them to have any input. It's about time the government looks out for Native Americans since they seem to constantly be pandering to other ethnic groups, but ignoring the Native people.

They already vote Democrat, why would Biden care?

It's not about voting. It's about morality and upholding treaties.

So...any thoughts on the "mandate" and the concepts of Federalism and government overreach?

I've got some good news for you.
First, oil prices probably won't change because of policies like this.

Second, Americans want electric vehicles, so the demand for gas will only go down and people like yourself that want cheap gas are more likely to have it regardless of whether oil pipelines get shut down or not.

The last piece of good news is that if you're too poor to afford gas because your vehicle is so inefficient you can sell it to someone that can afford to run it and get something more in line with your finances, a free market solution.

You're welcome, you can stop panicking, now.
