Yes, March 2020 -- lesson learned.  Right now, AMD (-10%), BABA (-2%), and PLTR (-13%) are my only losses in total.  I started getting more aggressive after watching NIO go from $30 to $55 and back down to $40 ... even though it was a 30% gain, it felt like a real loss so now I dump after hitting certain profits.  Also learned not to look back ... buy, dump, and move on.

If my investments were like Boselli (the Sunshine Pumper) talking about the Jags, I'd be broke.

Update:  Losing some today since I transitioned to some recovery stocks. No GME to bail me out   Back up but JNJ has me puzzled. Ready for approval but down today while Moderna is up ... what the heck !!

Why would you think JNJ would move up because of pending approval of their vaccine?  Everyone has known for months that that was going to happen.

JNJ is a great example of why I like to buy and hold forever.  If you had bought that stock 10 years ago, the value of your investment would have tripled, and you would have also collected a nice fat dividend all the while.

My biggest financial regret is not investing in ROKU when we bought 6 devices in Jan 2019 when we cut the cord and switched over to YouTube TV --- I told my fam and friends that Roku was going to take off globally but it took me another 18 months when it was up to $160/share before I actually dove in.   The share price in Jan 2019 was ~$30  and is now $400.  A simple $25,000 investment in Jan 2019 would have yielded $325,000 (a 1,300% ROI in 2 freaking years).  Sad

I think most savvy investors can say their ROI's over the past 10 years far exceed the 300% returns that JNJ would have offered.

How much per share did you pay for the AMC stock?

8.97 per. If it hits 5 I'll double down. I'm taking options on GME, it's about to blow up. All those paper hands are scared. GME to 195? Should be hitting 300 but too many snipers back on Thursday

One piece of advice that I'll give you.  NEVER ever buy a stock just because you like the product.  I've been there done that.  Buy what makes money.  I can't stand Micro$oft and don't personally use any of their products, yet I bought several hundred shares when the stock tanked (along with the rest of the market) last year.  The stock continues to rise and pays a decent dividend.

I agree.  My regret about Roku is that I saw the future of streaming -- I have 2 kids and they don't give a blip about Comcast or DirectTV .... so the writing was on the wall that streaming TV would take off globally.  Anyway, my recent transactions over the past year was to ride momentum & buy dips.  I know that's coming to an end so I'll be looking to something much more stable in the next few months.  To be honest, I need to get educated on the bond market, gold, and other traditional type investments.  Hopefully, in a few years we'll be traveling so my time dedication to CNBC and the US market will be minimal as I hope to have a real life that doesn't revolve around career and financials.

I'm still intrigued big time by Boeing ...... last weekend should have been devastating as a shareholder but the market didn't react one bit.  I'll likely sell off JNJ by Tuesday (hoping it has a spike on Monday) and perhaps I'll buy in on Boeing as I look more into the long terms aspect of things.

I have my buy ins pretty much set.  I already have some AMC and I'll buy back in on GME if it hits $50 and KOSS at about $7.  I need to hear more about GME skyrocketing again to go beyond $50 .... thoughts???

I was going to play options on it but I'm a little sketched all of a sudden after reading all weekend. Hedge has to cover their monthlies but I can see them trying to bring it down after premarket build up. I can almost guarantee the volume will be higher than Friday come Monday but these guys are hemorrhaging so badly everything is on the table. I'll check out the dailies on options but Thursday proved that reddit traders have paper hands. I bet Friday the hedge scooped a gang of premiums because that should have went over 160 no problem.

I missed the bell on Friday due to drinking Thursday night and missed some sexy dips on SQ, NVDA, LASR, and IIPR. I wont be doing that come next week.

Also with Cryptos' crash I see investors shipping that money over to these heavily discounted stocks so it'll be an interesting week nonetheless. Will PLTR get below 20?

Targets for Crypto:

BTC 36500

ETH 1200

DOGE .03

Double down targets for MEME stocks:

GME 70

AMC 5

Bought in on KOSS at $18.  Here we go .... let the games begin.  Unlike many others, I do agree this one is a gamble, like taking the Jags +12 against the Ravens

JNJ was way too boring - dumped 70% of my shares  .... may dump all by end of day !!!

Good job eliminating some of your JJ position.  I see some discounts coming this week

As it turns out it was all risk and really no reward since the stock would have dropped if approval wasn't granted but really didn't move upward when approval was ultimately granted.  It just hovers around $160.  I'm out on that one today.

KOSS rhymes with LOSS --- heck, even the KOSS family sold $3.5 million dollars worth of its shares.  HA !!  only down a few dollars but still not a good sign when the ownership is selling.  I'll still keep a little on KOSS and AMC for the sheer excitement of the potential that it has a +200% day.

Sold off PLTR ----- your FSR is booming once again today !!!!  Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you up ~ 100% on that one?

Bought the dip on SQ -- that had been one of my most reliable stocks since I started doing this in Aug/Sept 2020.

Just jumped on TDOC --- very nice dip stemming from last weeks market correction.

RKT -- Game on .... bought at $35 --- c'mon Reddit peeps.  LOL

Yeah I'm about sell FSR as it's overbought by the FOMO crowd. I figure I'll be able to make reentry at a later date as they have yet to produce one car. Prime example of buy the rumor sell the news.

I'm sadz I missed that dip Friday on SQ, that's a monster stock IMO.

Make sure you hold some buying power as GME is about to crash the market again. Hedge is balls deep with ladder attacks on GME and AMC, i think those other MEME stocks are straight dumpster fires though. Good job stopping the hemorrhaging on Koss. I typically dont like selling at a loss but sometimes it's the right move especially if you can allocate those funds into something that'll make you green.

In summary,  watch GME, AMC, and the new one RKT, as they are heavily shorted and the hedges will be eliminating their long positions to cover their shorts. So if they rally again in the power hour today you might want to shave 20 % of position.

If you have long positions you should be rooting against GME and if you're a new investor it's vice versa as it will create bargin bin entry positions.

No , I should have scraped my profit when I was up 35% but my strategy is to simply keep $10k in AMC and $5k in KOSS, RKT, and GME just in case 1 more more gets one of those 200% spikes again.  This investments represents half of my profits that I "lucked out" on with AMC and GME so it's playing with house money while still cashing in.  My $10k on AMC is at $4.96 and I truly believe this is a recovery stock which is still has a little room to grow without the Reddit triggers.

I guess I got back in too early on Square ($237) and TDOC  ($224) as they still continue to sink.  Those were my big winners in January so I thought I was going to get the best of both worlds -- selling high mid-Feb and buying low March 1 but it looks like it's still dropping ..... should have stuck with my strategy to sell all tech and go big on recovery (oil, airlines, cruise lines .....oh well.

Are you holding FSR or did you take take profits or sell off?

Interesting, a lot of hype coming to the market again. I wonder how long this round will go. Just got out of oil this week. Did well for me over the last year and am sure it will go up more, but I have had a change in priorities. All REITs now. Good luck guys. Don’t put anything serious in GME or AMC, any good news has been 10x priced in with the memes.

Thoughts on the new BUZZ ETF? Tracks social media hype essentially. Seems intriguing, and of course the GOAT day trader El Prez Dave Portnoy backs it.

I just sold off most of my gains in my tech ETF (kept initial investment in) and purchased some US energy ETFs as well as Walmart (seems to be at a discount). I already hold Exxon and Exxon is this ETFs largest holding, but it has other entities to help me diversify within energy/oil. I think US energy is going to continue to rise for at least the rest of the year.

I also purchased a small amount of Boeing during the downward spiral and that has had great returns for me, wish I had bought more. Still considering it, although it's been hot this week, may wait for it to cool down.
