My brother has Chevy 1500 ‘07 (‘06 classic)5.3. Pretty much it’s an 06 with the 07 motor. I had the same thing but 4.8. About a year after payoff mine went to crap with electrical issues and transmission acting up. He had his transmission rebuilt but loves his truck. It’s gone literally coast to coast 4 or 5 times for him now. So.. Fwiw. He did say when it eventually comes down to it, Ford is number one on his list. He does love his truck though. So I suppose they may have made at least one or two decent ones.
