There is NO way Justin Fields lasts until #24.  If I were a betting man, I'd bet that the top 5 qbs will be off the board by #9.  Fields is at worst the 3rd best qb on the board.

Freiermuth is fine I guess. He will be a pretty good player for us at a position of desperate need. I have a hard time seeing him as BAP though.

If we are dead set on drafting him in the first, maybe we could trade back a little and acquire some extra picks next year.

Yeah, I chortled when I saw that on the crawl over the weekend. His mock was a mock, that is for sure.

But again, had he mocked Fields to ATL or something that ordinary, who would've bothered to create a thread about it here, or gone to the source site to view or discuss?

My pessimism is getting the better of me, though.

I'd we take Freiermuth at 25 just go ahead and start the new head coach search now. There's no way the Urban gamble is going to work out if he thinks that would be the best pick at 25.
