We already have co-ops for homeschoolers, but the waiting lists are massive. We've tried for three years to get into one in Ponte Vedra without luck. There's a demand there, we just need to figure out how to fill it.

Is it a teacher based thing or just parents meeting for group activities for the social side for their kids? I know there are groups to help get the social interactions but didn't know about the other existing.

We've been to both. The one in PV is a three day weekly school session led by parents who are former teachers with curricula, test, grades, and grade levels through High School. The socially oriented groups are just led by the moms for a few hours each week.

How?

#1 - Walk away from public schools.
#2 - Lobby your state governments to push back against the Federal DoE.
#3 - Vote for those who stand against federal interference.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
