Finally Found Our Identity

#1

After 2 weeks, it appears this team has carved out its identity:

1. Throw it often, and throw it deep. Hope for the best.
2. Why run when you can throw?
3. Running Back is a decoy or 5th receiver.
4. Defense plays against the run, even stops a run here and there.
5. Secondary? What Secondary?
6. Nice Kick Returner, Kicker in decline

7. Bring 7 WRs on Game Day. 5th receiver on the field for actual plays is rookie 6th round tight end.

We’ve evolved from
“Bend but don’t break”
To
“Bent but always break”
To
“Just stay broken”

1.  I think part of that is attributable to team philsophy.  Part of that is due to TL's immaturity.  Part of that is due to the lack of a reliable receiving TE.

2.  While the team was more balanced this week, there are still instances where they get away from the run too soon.

5.  The secondary makes me cringe, but illustrates why blitzing is not always the answer and why Wash wasn't always so bad.

6.  Don't know what's going on with Lambo.  Hope he gets it fixed soon.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

The problem with our team is T Law and the defense. But mostly T Law, Like always for whatever reason even with a fresh new QB and coaching staff the jaguars still seem to refuse to play the intermediate game. We either throw it really short, or really deep. I watch other teams, almost all of them even with bad QBs throw intermediate routes, simple stuff on a consistent basis but for some reason we just never do it.
