FBI: Some of biggest hate-crime increases were in Dem strongholds

The FBI’s latest annual report on hate crimes seemed to deliver more grim news about race relations in America, announcing a nearly 40% rise in anti-black hate crimes in 2020. Major news outlets trumpeted the headline-grabbing statistic, noting that it coincided with a rise in “white nationalism” and came amid a surge in anti-black “hostility” caused by summer 2020 protests. Attorney General Merrick Garland quickly promised “a comprehensive response” by the Department of Justice.

Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution."

WND.com is usually a good source for news. This is a good article.
The article says that anti black hate crimes are increasing. But it goes on to say there is not enough data here to draw much of a conclusion about where or why.  Even with the increase, we are fortunate to say that this type of crime remains relatively rare.

Any stats about hate crimes are nonsense because black on white crime or anyone on Jews crime are ignored.

Yet another reason why statistics, polls and studies are unreliable indicators of anything. If every state, city, county and police department have different criteria for what a hate crime is then the numbers mean nothing. Add to that the ones who don't report their numbers, or report them late as Ohio did, and that adds to the unreliability.

Unless there is a national standard for what constitutes a hate crime and all law enforcement is required to follow that standard, and actually does so, none of this shows the true measure of the crime. Of course then there is the issue pointed out in the article. Reported vs conviction in a court of law.
