Committee votes unanimously to fund Las Vegas NFL stadium

An oversight committee has voted in favor of spending $750 million in public money to help pay for a Las Vegas NFL stadium.

The Southern Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee met today to make a decision on whether the plan should move forward on the $1.9 billion stadium.

Raiders should not pass up a billion dollar stadium like they did with 49ers and rams. Vegas then will get a SB and nfl will make more money than in Oakland.

Cant help but empathize with Oakland fans. I hope they stay put, but it seems like the owner just doesn't want to be there.

I'm thinking with the massive amount of tourists and the casinos buying a ton of tickets it would offset the smaller amount of locals that would be purchasing tickets. Although I could be completely wrong.

Im not the guy that takes frequent trips to Vegas. But if I was and the Jags played a game that year, I'd try to schedule it then. That sounds like a really good weekend actually. Catch a game, few shows and some gambling. Oh and lots of drinks.

I doubt it.  I don't think there is even a million in the city and surrounding area.
