The idea that Russia had kompromat on Trump was never credible.
Russia definitely, openly, tried to help get Trump elected, but the simple fact that Putin hated Hillary was sufficient explanation for that.
There was probable cause to investigate if anyone on the campaign cooperated with Russia, and ultimately evidence was found, and convictions won, that some folks did cooperate with Russia. But no evidence that Trump knew about it.
This is why Trump was never impeached for anything involving Russia.
He was impeached for messing around with Ukraine, not Russia.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
