Bald eagles return to Conowingo Dam

#1

I've actually seen one Bald Eagle in my area of Maryland years ago.... He was hunting for prey along the river the runs just outside of town.... It was a very majestic sight to say the least.........

Bald eagles return to Conowingo Dam as wintry weather settles in

A relatively mild autumn is delaying the migration of the predators, but more eagles will come with colder temperatures

As the chillier weather of late fall arrives in the mid-Atlantic region, so too come other annual visitors: large, majestic bald eagles.

Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution."

I've seen a bald eagle here in central NC. It was several years ago and it was so unexpected I didn't realize what I was seeing at first. They are a sight to behold.

Smart of them to migrate to the dam in colder months for the free flowing water.
