I've been obsessed with Medieval Dynasty on Steam recently. I love those survival-craft type games. Impatiently waiting for Ark 2....

Any retro gamers on here? Must be a few...

I'm not modern by any means but enjoy wheeling out the old n64 on occasion...

Last finished banjo kazooie and super mario64 a month or so ago ... Got Majoras mask and Donkey Kong to start at some point...  And might get round to completing Tony Hawks 2 eventually (cracking game that one)

Zelda: Ocaria of time is still the benchmark though it was all downhill after that

Finished Majora's Mask a few months ago, it was my second playthrough. Great game.

About a month or so ago, I was playing the Namco pack, featuring Galaga, Dig Dug, Pac Man and I forgot the 4th game.

I've got two mates, one loved majoras mask more than ocarina of time, t'other one hated it ... As I say i haven't played it yet but the major disagreement seemed to be on the repetitive 'three day cycle' set up and the masks ... One lad has no problems the other seems to think it just makes the game too disjointed ... I'd be interested to hear how would you compare it to Ocarina?

I'm fairly sure we didn't get pacman on the European PAL set up over here ... One of the more slightly irritating features of the console was the number of games that remained American or Japanese only.

I never forgave them for making NFL Blitz an American only release ... I have very happy memories of playing that on arcade at Disneyland sports resort hotel probably sometime around the mid 90's ... Loved it! Hail Mary every single play and buy your cup and it's free refills on the drinks machine. Sank enough coke to take a good 12 years off my top end!!

Honestly, I'd say in terms of gameplay as well as all of the different stories and sidequests that run together, I enjoyed Majora's mask more. Ocarina of Time will always have a special place in my heart though.. It was the first video game I ever fell in love with, and it's basically burned into my brain. If we're talking gameplay, I take Majora's mask. If we're talking satisfaction of the story mode and nostalgia factor, it's Ocarina of Time.

Skyrim on the PS4 again at the moment. Raid: Shadow Legends on my phone and Final Fantasy Tactics on my PS Vita. I want to get back into Skyrim on my PC though. So I can play it with a lot more mods and better speed, graphics, etc.

Anybody on here into gaming PC's or Laptop's? Looking to get something new soon but would prefer to have it ready to go right out of the box instead of building one.

I just started getting into PC gaming. I grabbed this guy from Walmart and swapped in 32gb of ram and a bigger hard drive. I haven't had any issues yet and have been able to play most everything maxed out. It did struggle a bit before increasing the ram. A little bit of frame rate drops here and there and haven't tried a game like Elden Ring, but I have no complaints so far. I decided to go with a PC instead of a laptop just for the sake of being able to upgrade it in the future if I want to.

HP Pavilion Gaming R5 1650 Super, 8GB/256GB Gaming Desktop Tower - Walmart.com

I got mine off the shelf in the store for $500 last summer. They have a newer one with a different graphics card now so I'm not sure if you could find this exact one, but looking at the specs of the new one and mine they're basically a wash.

I've found that I get addicted to games easily so I try to avoid gaming as much as possible considering I really don't have time for it. That said, the urge has gotten the better of me and I've been hooked playing Axis & Allies 1942 online recently which at least is turn based and I can come and go as I please. I grew up playing the original blue box board game version. Also, Lords of Waterdeep is another board/card game that's been ported to iOS and PC and is pretty dope as well.

Caved in and bought a used PS5 with a charging station, extra controller and 13 games for about $850 on Ebay two weeks ago. It's not a bad system. I am playing a wide variety of games at the moment though. Resident Evil Village has been pretty fun so far as well as the Hogwarts Legacy game. Looking to get Resident Evil 4 and probably Grand Turismo 7 at some point.

I am mostly looking forward to Diablo IV and Baldur's Gate III now though at the moment. So June and then August I guess release date wise respectively.

The Resident Evil 4 remake is imo the best Resident Evil game ever made. I loved both 7 and Village but 4 was even better. If you can wait just based off the last few that came out it’ll be on sale fairly soon.  GT7 is a great game but I eventually stopped playing it. The cars are great the game just gets old.

Anyone excited for the new Zelda?

Have not played chess against a human opponent in over 2 decades.

Wow time flies.

Considering upgrading to a PS5.

If I am going to spend $600 plus for a gaming console, I  want a better than tepid review than "it's not a bad system. "

Did I read too much into this comment?

I am typically always late to the party with consoles and don't jump on them when they hit the market. I honestly can't tell the difference quite yet with everything so far outside of a few games truly designed for the PS5. Skyrim has faster loading times on the PS5 by many, many miles but it's also an older game. Started playing Fallout 4 yesterday again and it's a little bit faster as well and clean operationally.

I honestly don't get a ton of time to sit down and game anymore. My son just turned three a little over a month ago so I am really hands on with him around the house and then I get caught up with the day to day stuff inside and outside around the house. I will say this. The Harry Potter Hogwarts Legacy game is visually and operationally exciting and fun to see. I also got into Chivalry II recently which is like a realistic medieval hack and slash kind of game with some strategy to it. You can't just pray and spray your way out of a skirmish like you can in some games.

Those are a few games that were built for the PS5. I would need to really try more PS5 games and grow out of my staunch ways of sticking to what I know over and over again. With that said. I did preorder Diablo IV for myself and my wife over the weekend so we're excited to play that together next month. That's another game where I'll be able to truly test what the PS5 has to offer. Baldur's Gate III in August is another one I want to get my hands on. Eventually Grand Theft Auto 6 will drop as well. Maybe another Tekken.
