Just because you are ignorant to his skillset hardly means he's not the right man for the job.
I'm not down on Leftwich, but Bevell has all the tangibles you'd want in a head coach. In fact, Matt Stafford was so taken by him in the OC and interim role last year that he went on record saying he'd like to remain in Detroit if Bevell was promoted to the head job. Stafford's likely on his way to a Super Bowl appearance, but it says something that he thought that much of him.

Hey Mrs. Bevell.. I bet you can get a good divorce settlement and I know for a fact I can satisfy you better than that loser... PM Mrs. Bevell we have lots to talk about.
