They offered it to Leftwich. And it wasn’t until a full month after Pedersons first interview and Leftwich telling them he didn’t want Baalke either did they circle back.

Pederson didn't want the job because he didn't want to work with Baalke.  Just another reason they are going after Spielman and demoting Baalke imo.   I think Pederson was their first choice all along but he didn't want to work with Baalke.   The good coach did walk away but it looks like they can get him back with Spielman

I don't think you can say for certain that Pederson wasn't a more desirable option than Leftwich. We just don't know that for certain.

Exactly, I think Pederson was their top guy all along, Spielman is the only thing that is saving their [BLEEP]

It took was getting Spielmen in why on Earth did it take them 40 days to find a solution
