Yeldon 21 rushes for 39 yards

So all he needs is 60 carries for a 100 yard game

Quote:Not having Ivory today was probably the difference between a win and a loss. Yeldon was constantly getting hit three yards deep and just fighting to get back to the line.

Agreed. Ivory might have gotten a handoff on that 4th and one at end of game.

Quote:That sounds like a coaching thought.... not something strong with Gus.
I have seen the Belichek coached Patriots struggle with their running game and Brady would sling it 50 times, often 15-20 in a row. Guess what? It worked well, the defense was gassed and they went no huddle shotgun almost entirely.

No it wasn't. The run blocking is terrible. Ivory only would have helped by keeping Yeldon's legs fresh.

Yeldon got the handoff. The only problem was he had nowhere to go after that.

Which play is everyone else talking about then?

The one where there was 16 seconds on the clock and time ran out bc there wasn't enough time to spike it.

Bortles can't spike the ball on fourth down.

Yeldon looked good. Don't care about the stats. We needed Ivory.

Dude your completely lost. It was said that he should have sneaked it on 3rd and 1 instead of passing to Greene.

I hope Ivory can play in San Diego.

The reality it looks like Ivory was scheduled to be the starter.  And when he went to hospital they had to re plan for Yeldon.   And since lack of time.  Had to come up with something relatively easy.  With Ivory we would of won.
