Pitre is an interesting combination.  He's a tremendous athlete, almost a hybrid between slot corner and box safety.  He plays mostly in the short hook zones/underneath, but is not a true "thumper" in the Chancellor mode.  He has excellent ball skills for the INT and PBU underneath.  To me, what sets him apart fro the other safeties I've discussed in this thread is he times his blitzes better than any safety I've seen since Troy Polamalu.

The only question I have about him is his ability to make plays downfield, where he would come from centerfield turn, and cover deep, and that's because it seems Baylor didn't ask him to do that much.  I've seen Hill and Brisker do that.  I think he has the athleticism to do that, but I think the Baylor coaches used him properly.
