Trevor Lawrence: Franchise QB (TL Discussion, Merged Threads)
|
I’m going to try and not be too alarmist on Trevor and his possible future in the NFL. There’s no denying he’s had a bad season this year but I’m far from giving up on him becoming a game changer. He has all of the tools to be great and has time to adjust his game to how the league has adjusted to him.
Peyton Manning had a terrible rookie year, 2 good years and then year 4 hit and the Colts went 6-10 while Peyton had 26 TDs and 23 interceptions. The Colts didn’t give up on their young QB and I think it would be foolish for the Jags if they did. As far as Bortles being a better QB, all you need to do is refer to this video for a wonderful trip down memory lane: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=elaue-fQg2...NrIHNpeGVz
