It's amazing to me that Gavin Newsome thinks he can run for President.  All his opponents have to do is hang California around his neck.  Maybe he doesn't realize what kind of image the state of California has with the rest of the country.

"The board weighed a measure the would 'include more parental inclusion' but ultimately voted to keep the existing 'parental secrecy policy' in place with a 3-2 vote..

Someone will end up getting shot over this type of stuff..

You mean how half the country sees California. The other half loves it.

The only justification for keeping parents in the dark would be if the child is afraid they will be punished for starting this conversation at school. And that's very simple to solve, say, "your child spoke to me today about their gender, this conversation will continue as long as your child wants it to, if your child says that you punished them over this, I will call CPS."

There is no good reason to keep parents in the dark.

If the child doesn't want to tell their parents, who are we to stop them. Right?

People need to hear her perspective. This pandering [BLEEP] needs to stop. I have four niece's. This is completely bonkers. I wouldn't tolerate this as an uncle nor as a father.

Even if my own Son drank this koolaid years from now I would tell him to be respectful and not pull this kind of [BLEEP].

Even more creepy that "she" is a lesbian. Apparently.

If you are talking about the guy, he isn't a lesbian. He has another guy who got it chopped off already or is in progress of doing that. So it's just 2 guys pretending. His group of friends have some sick posts online if you want to go searching for the articles about them.

What u just articulated is a tyranny far worse than a 3 cent tax on tea.  The idea that we even talk about this kind of affront to nature and nature's God Is a fundamental betrayal of every soldiers whose blood is on that flag.

Shame on US!

Unfortunately....  I'm not a big supporter of the Riley Gaines angle.   The idea that modern women would shun Lia thomas for sexual degeneracy makes no sense.  They embraced him because they assumed he was a sexual degenerate.  This is trying to psychologically reconcile the sexual revolution with ingrained sexual morality.

If teachers start that conversation, if they suggest it, it's tyranny.  But if a kid comes to them, I mean, weren't you ever a kid?

In Washington, the children belong to the state.

Washington bill to allow medical transgender interventions on minors without parental consent | Fox News

A Washington State bill that would strip parents' rights to intervene on their kids medical care in certain circumstances passed the House Wednesday, clearing its pathway to being signed by Gov. Jay Inslee.

"An act relating to supporting youth," or Senate Bill 5599, allows host homes for runaway youth "to house youth without parental permission." Furthermore, the host homes do not need to notify parents about where their kids are or if they are getting medical interventions "if there is a compelling reason not to, which includes a youth seeking protected health services."

The "protected health care services" included "gender-affirming care," which for minors arbitrarily included anything prescribed by a doctor to treat dysphoria, the bill said.

"Gender affirming treatment can be prescribed to two-spirit, transgender, nonbinary, and other gender diverse individuals," the bill stated.

For minors, "affirming care" typically included puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries. It was unclear which services would be approved under the bill.

Instead of contacting parents, shelters can contact the Washington Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) instead.

Another "compelling reason" not to notify parents about kids staying in a host home was "circumstances that indicate notifying the parent or legal guardian will subject the minor to abuse or neglect."

The bill was criticized by opponents for being "child abuse."...

And we brand Sweden as socialist. At least on this issue, they are getting it right so far.

Unfortunately that's between you and her. Some random weirdo on the internet might think different, but she is your parent, not me.

Agreed. Would have to question if he/she/they/them/non-binary/binary/cis fellow message board member watched the full clip there. There was a plethora of issues there. The NCAA opted to turn it into a publicity stunt and it's pathetic. Never mind the fact that he was allowed to be in the locker room with real women with his pecker flopping around like it was no big deal.

That entire coaching staff and incident is an embarrassment to sports and Women's Sports in general. They tied and they gave he-man, master of the gender bending the spotlight because it fit their agenda and they needed the inclusivity title and tag amplified and highlighted as a list of accomplishments at their school and for the NCAA.

This is just one of very many incidents now of men not hacking it amongst their fellow men and opting to throw a [BLEEP] wig over their heads to records, titles and sponsorships by playing dress up or going a step further by self castrating. Sorry, [BLEEP] those kinds of people in general and in particular.

Again, I have no problems with the Alphabet Soup community. Just keep that nonsense away from the kids and sports and we'll call it [BLEEP] square.
