Pederson calling out individual players?

#21

My initial guess would be pass rush and secondary. The O-line isnt getting any good press clippings. They know they suck.

Actually, i would encourage the team to read them this week. It might light a few fires under some [BLEEP].

See I don’t think it’s the D. Pederson seems to be kind of aloof when it comes to the Defense.
I think he feels less ownership of it than the Offense.

If he took over playcalling duties in the 2nd half and he allegedly yelled at the players  during halftime, Im guessing it was more of the offensive guys and maybe one of the defensive leaders.

Maybe Foye or Josh now that I’m thinking about it. But i can’t imagine he’s not upset with his offensive line. They are executing at a low low level

The press clippings and vibe on these boards were 100% this will be a top three offence. Chickens were being counted well and truly before they were hatched. A few overthrows and dropped passes later and the excuse making coupled with selective blindness hits full stride.

This team has one simple fix: start making throws to the best options and catch every pass that come your way. Every other complaint about the line or the play calls or the smell of their deodorant is meaningless if TL keeps floating balls and missing his chances. And the WR’s drop the balls they do get. That it. The only it.

Doug Pederson is an easy-going guy. I wouldn't want to incur his wrath. On the same hand, it wouldn't hurt for him to take a long look in the mirror.

Leon Searcy was speculating if the weak practice before Kansas City was ever fully addressed. He's somewhat under the impression that Doug is going soft on these guys during the week.

Agreed. This team has been sleep walking for two weeks. Where is the urgency? Where is the fire? The anger? He finally started to show visible signs of displeasure for once after the game.

He's already taking the play call duties back on so it'll be interesting what his next move is if these guys continue to drop good passes, fumble good plays, negate good plays with penalties or simply just play sloppy and trip themselves up, literally.

Are players getting benched next? Again, asking this question. You drafted Washington, you signed Cooks as a UDFA. Neither guys are active. Meanwhile. Zay is out. Ridley has bricks for hands. Kirk is being overlooked. Agnew is getting opportunities and squandering them.

What's the point of keeping those receivers on the roster if you're not going to shake things up?

Unpopular opinion; Ridley needs to get benched next game

I think so, what I appreciate about him is he acts fast and doesn’t let issues linger. Love how he took back the reigns at halftime after 3 weeks of it clearly NOT working with Press.

Exactly. We were catching every green light last year down the stretch, even with a few potholes along the way. We got lucky.

This year, it's going to take actual skill, techincal refinement and honestly perfection at times to win.

You cannot slip up. If the ball is in your hands? Catch it. If the ball is in your hands and you're running with it? Hold onto it.

If it's 4th down? Play smarter. Points are a premium now.

Would be interesting to see you a "Pissed off" Doug instead of the flat and optimistic realist. The reality right now is "It's Week 3" but we freaking suck bad. Worse than last year, and we were supposed to be better than that. This team had expectations.

They have to string a few wins together.

I think the players themselves are somewhat shellshocked that they are not dominating teams like they should be (or how they thought they would).

Just continue to play, stay in the game. One play at a time.

That was Gus. I'm sure he is still serving up the soft serve after games.

No. He needs to be a decoy at least.

The Agnew fumble and that crazy lucky kick return were the back breakers.

Nah, if that were the case it's definitely him. However, we've seen 6 TD missed because of WR mistakes this season already, are you blaming him for those? Lawrence and the backs are playing well enough to have won these last two games. The line and receivers have let us all down.

Im not blaming him for anything on his own, but im also not excluding his poor play from the rest of the team like others.

This imaginary number keeps popping up. It went from 3 to 6? Where are all the magical TDs coming from? He had 1 drop this week and 1 catch-able  incomplete in the end zone in week 2 by Zay. The others 1s in the end zone were late and too far out of bounds to realistically get 2 feet down against KC. He has had 2 TDs where they were sure things if players actually could catch and drag the feet. In each scenario, they do not even win us the games. 1 MIGHT tie it if we get the 2 pt play. Trevor has sucked, its time the team owns that fact and Doug looks like he's not happy and if I had to guess it's because his QB has played like [BLEEP] in all 3 games.

I wouldnt say hes played like [BLEEP], but rather go back to my original standpoint that hes far too over hyped by everyone especially this fan base. Hes still yet to really ascend past “pretty solid with potential” to the elite qb some of you expect him to be.

Dont think its a give up all hope scenario with Trevor but some people need to pump the damn brakes

You can’t possibly evaluate Lawrence if the dude has 2 seconds to throw and essentially has two different OCs in his ear. Plus his #1 receiver is not helping him, probably making him worse.
