Apparently it was Lawrence who called an audible to go deep to Ridley on the 3rd and 6 late in the game. I guess a run play was called and Lawrence saw the Safety matching up on Ridley

He does, hes much improved however he has one issue that has remained throughout his time here.

In less than 3 seasons he has 30 fumbles, that's gotta stop.

Edit: And yes, I know the O line isn't doing him any favors in this regard, but still thats an insane number of fumbles no matter how many times you get hit.

The first fumble was not his fault, he got hit from behind while his arm was going back for a pass.  The second fumble was when he was being tackled, and he did acknowledge in a post-game interview that it was a bad fumble.  You're right, he does need to work on ball security.  But you know what?  He just turned 24 years old.  He's going to continue to get better for the next several years.

That comes from him never giving up on a play.

Big time players make big time plays in big time games. Lawrence is that dude.

The Bills fought the LAW and the LAW won.

first one was a strip sack, he's trying to make the throw, not as much on him on that one.

second one was absolutely his bad, looked like he only had one hand on the ball going into contact, and didn't really think he was taken by surprise on that one.

Credit where it's due. If this is the case, it's a tremendous sign of a true on field coordinator/field general type guy.

See the original Lawrence thread for a clip and break down of the play

Lawrence is an all-around talent. The film and experience is really paying dividends at this stage of his career and the team's potential has risen dramatically because of it. Is he elite yet? Maybe not, and there may be more bumps in the road, but he is a great leader and smart/talented QB.
