Jags were down 7 times at halftime this year. 0-7 in that scenario

Coaches or players fault? They could not adjust.

Combination of both, really. We had two instances during the season where they had opportunities to get points within seconds of the first half coming to a close and whether it was due to poor decisions by Lawrence or bad time management with the coaches and calls getting in they [BLEEP] themselves.

I have been saying "adjust" and "adjustments" a lot though in my posts as of late. Based on Pederson firing the entire defensive staff and a handful of small name coaches on offense, you would have to think the coaches deserve a big portion of the blame. We also keep hearing about how poor practices were and you play the way you practice.

Kirk went on record saying they weren't prepared. Ridley went on record saying they worked themselves tirelessly, etc. Again, goes back to a few things, but for me, it's 60% coaching, 40% players at this point. Especially going into year two with the same cast of players.

Khan's complacency, Baalke's incompetency and Pederson's laidback personality. Too much Joe Cool in that building right now and not enough G.I Joe it sounds like.

From the bird's eye view perspective, coming out of the half being down with usually no established running game puts you in the exact situation you don't want to be in.  Predictable passing situations with oh by the way poor pass protection.  Not the best recipe for success.

Just another indctment of the offense, like I said if the defense didn't hold we sucked.

It's 50/50 with the offense and defense. I pointed it out in the Bengals game. Lawrence delivers this team with a 125.7 passer rating, played perfectly, gets rewarded with:

Little steeping on his ankle.
Defense letting Jake Browning look like Joe Montana in his prime.
McManus missing one crucial field goal at some point in the game.

That was the catalyst for how the rest of the year would play out with the exception of the home win over the fledgling Carolina Panthers. The Cleveland game was a boxing match of "Hold my beer" anytime the offense would make a mistake and recover, the defense would make their mistake and recover.

This team couldn't play complimentary football to save it's life during the course of the toughest stretch of the season and that goes back to everybody just not doing their damn jobs from top, down. Then the injuries poured on. That's on the coaches for failing to adjust enough.
