You're moving the goalposts, Mikey. Prescribed Ivermectin should have ALWAYS been allowed, even if it was ineffective. Totally safe drug. Sure, people shouldn't be buying horse ivermectin. Wonder why they turned to that instead of their doctor. Oh, because the CDC told doctors not to prescribe it.

https://emergency.cdc.gov/han/2021/pdf/CDC_HAN_449.pdf

They issued this from a threefold increase of Ivermectin poisoning, which is what, like 2 cases? Lol.

Obviously, I am being facetious with regard to the number, but it's a ridiculously small change on the scope of US population, either way.

No, you don't prescribe a drug just because.

Heard people who need to severely lose weight are taking diabetes meds to lose weight.

I wouldn't touch Ozempic with a ten foot pole.. Seems like they're killing themselves to try to lose weight. Everyone walking around looking dead like a zombie..

Researchers still don't understand Ozempic's mechanism of action.  They thought it just affected the digestive system but there are receptors in the brain that it also messes with.  The suspicion is that the current doses are too large and may cause the muscles that keep your food moving through the system to stop working well.

If you need to lose weight in a hurry and diet isn't working, phentermine has been on the market for decades and is well understood and safe when used correctly.

We still don't know how to use ozempic correctly.

Of course, when there's a benefit. With Ivermectin there wasn't. You know this, quit arguing just to argue.

It was unknown at the time. There wasn't an adequate study done until 2022. There were also other studies suggesting otherwise. You know this.

Most people who struggle with weight find it gets harder and harder to maintain a low calorie diet, their bodies hunger gets stronger and stronger over time.

It does have to be low calories

If u eat enough high protein foods to keep yourself food, whilst keeping in some sort of calorie deficit based off what ever your daily maintenance is you can lose weight.

Right but there are hormonal, psychiatric and psychological challenges that come with a long term low calorie diet for some people.  Their metabolisms slow down, for one.

A lot of people use food as comfort.

It's a strange phenomenon if you don't experience that aspect of it personally. It becomes hard to empathize with those that do suffer from it.

Bird flu pandemic in future? EU warns of potential spread to humans due to 'lack of immune defense’
Alert follows confirmation of rare human case in Texas

As avian influenza (bird flu) continues to spread among wild birds in the European Union, officials are warning of the potential for a future human pandemic.

On Wednesday, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) issued an alert noting that "transmission between bird and mammal species has been observed, particularly in fur animal farms, where outbreaks have been reported."

Although it is rare for infected birds to pass along the virus to humans, the agency warned that new strains could pose a danger in the future.

Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution."

The cynicism your industry created is impressive.

Don't worry, only 6 months left before you get a shot at redemption.

It's not all that impressive, half the world's population is below average intelligence so it's no wonder so many fell for the quack's bull [BLEEP].
