The Interesting and Weird Music Video Thread

Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer is great weirdness

anything by Tool, their videos are works of art in their own right even without the accompanying music

But friendo if you want some weird music videos just look up Cyriak on the tubes. Holy farts. They may not be recognizable songs, but if your minds are in the right state, you will be well pleased.
Tool's video for "Sober" was nightmare fuel for me as a boy. The stop motion, twitching stuff always freaked me out. Reminded me of scenes from Jacob's Ladder.

I have seen them three times live though since Rockville came here just before Covid happened and I saw them in Orlando and then Rockville again last year in Daytona.

They're pretty fun to watch. Carey on drums is insane. Chancellor and Jones doing their thing up front is always clean and on point. Maynard does his little toddler mannerisms in the shadows in the back.

Good stuff. The best song from them personally for me is the version of "Pushit" from the Salival live concert they did. Would have liked to have been there for that performance.

Saw these guys live last year in October. Really unique and fun experience. Him and his wife are the singers but they have an awesome stage presence together.

Not for everybody but it's a folk, pagan style sound that they're trying to invoke and it's often in the spirit of Ancient Germanic or Nordic tribes.

I love this song. I remember this video a ton in the 90's on MTV and VH1 when they still somewhat played music videos when I was a kid.

Peter Gabriel has a ton of range as an artist. The one thing that blew me away was when I found out he made the music score to Passion: Music for the last temptation of Christ.

There's a track called "Of these, hope". I remember hearing it, again, years ago playing in the background of a David Copperfield's Magic show on TV and it carried with me forever.

Had a blast hunting it down as an adult.

I was stoned off my [BLEEP] the first time that I saw Sledgehammer.  I’m surprised I wasn’t drooling as I was staring at the TV.  Who knows, I may have been.

OK, I was just kicked back enjoying the weather in my neck of the woods contemplating life in General, and all the stunts I pulled in my youth. Then I remembered a song I heard on the Dr Demento show years ago...... So now, for your listening pleasure, the weirdest of the weird I've ever heard......

Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution."
