Great question.

Is it really that difficult?

So you're saying that giving implied consent means you can't complain about the results afterwards?

I should tell my wife...

Although most Democrats are too intimidated to speak up while extremists drive their party bus over the cliff, there is a sizable number remaining who aren’t loons. But that is irrelevant to my point. Just because moderate Democrats won’t call out their leadership doesn’t mean Republicans shouldn’t. If Trump, or anyone, is caught up in prevarication, they should be called out. It’s called accountability.

The left has nothing to do with this.  No one here is on the left.  And the existence of people on the left, who are not reasonable or logical, is no excuse for just making stuff up.

And as for judging a person's sanity, I wonder about Trump's.  Because he lies so often in situations where telling a lie gains him nothing.  And that makes me wonder if he's doing it on purpose, because so often, there's no apparent purpose behind it.

I've answered that question before, but what does that have to do with this thread?

How about post # 78?  Is that more relevant?  You said it was a great question.

Your silence speaks volumes.  Do you like where the country has gone under Biden?  If you want to sign up for four more years of the same, you know what to do in November.

The thing I like best about voting for Biden in 2020 is we got free and fair federal elections in 2022 and it's shaping up that we will get them again in 2024.

I'm not trying to start a conversation about whom we should vote for in November.  What I want to know is, why does Trump tell so many lies?  Even when a lie wouldn't benefit him at all, he still makes up a lie.  And he does it so constantly, and his lies are so transparent, you have to wonder if he even realizes he's lying.
