ESPN at Joint Practice

#1

ESPN has big crew for the practice today.. It will be interesting how much they focus on each team...  I guess this is a low profile way for them to ignore the teams the rest of the season since they can just say to the fans of these teams that "Hey we covered a practice of yours in August!!"

Things won't change until we start winning.......I noticed, listening to the Jags-Jets game, how 90% of the commentary was about the Jets. Even during a Jaguar offensive drive, they were discussing the Jets and totally ignoring the action on the field.

Were you watching the Jets broadcasters?

If you watched it on NFL Network, that was the Jets home feed..  The Jags broadcast with Sam and Mark focused on the Jags..  NFL Network just had the Jets home feed unless they flipped at halftime which they used to do..

Oh boo hoo...  If you look at ESPN's website it looks pretty balanced to me.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world.  Those who understand binary and those who don't.

The coverage was atrocious. They would zoom in tight on Bortles and Winston and basically talk about last season or the off-season while not showing the play at all.

Keep in mind this network is now covering the WWE. A lot of things have changed at the Mothership since we were younger.

Nothing beats the World's Strongest Man competition followed by some Australian Rules Football.

ESPN is geared toward the TMZ style of quick, punchy headlines and is littered with social media crossover to draw in every audience. The shows iarent  designed for someone to watch for more than 10 minutes because humans don't have the attention span.
