Poz is playing like he still wants to start!

 

The difference I see right now between Poz and Myles Jack is that Poz comes downhill hard on the running plays, while right now, the very inexperienced Jack is playing like he ought to be playing weakside linebacker and not middle linebacker.  

 

Maybe it's the lack of experience, and maybe he's really out of position at MLB.

I'm worried about Bortles.

 

At the scrimmage on Friday night, he stared 1-5.  And now he's getting picked off frequently, some of the INTs going back for six.

 

Is anyone else worried about this?

 

I guess we always have to be worried about something.   If Bortles was 5-5 on Friday night, we'd all be worried about the defense. 

 

I am looking forward to testing our team against another team and not against ourselves.

Id say lack of xp. Jack had no issues with this during his college days. Even in the scrimmage he seemed to be hesitant in an attempt to not run himself outta plays.


Whereas Poz know the D and trusts his angles alot more. I think we see Jack take big steps in this department during the preseason when he starts getting live snaps.
