You put in two words what it took me 2+ paragraphs to write.

Well done!
Lol I agreed with everything you said but I always come back to all these young guns with the thought of "they're rookies or young players. I have no idea what to make of them and that's ok."

Quote:If I had to characterize it, I'd say Poz is more the traditional MLB/ILB who can take on a G, put his shoulder into him, stand him up, shed, and make the tackle.  Jack does not seem to be that type yet, based SOLELY on the scrimmage.

However, I don't know, based on that same scrimmage, if knowledge of the scheme, lack of confidence, lack of size, or some combination of those things and more are impacting Jack negatively.  The strange thing is that in short yardage, when things tend to be very physical, he was there and made two short yardage stops.  But in normal down and distance, runs between the tackles at him were successful.

As I said earlier, I'm still not sure what to make of Jack at this point.  I should have a better understanding after the Jets game.

From what little I've seen of Jack, he takes the wrong gap a lot and gets caught up in the wash.  Poz manages to get right in the middle of things making something happen.   Poz is very underrated as a traditional run stopping middle linebacker.   Myles Jack is a lot faster than Poz, but Poz has great instincts.   He's a tackling machine.   If Poz stays healthy, Jack might wind up being a backup linebacker this year.

On the radio, they were saying Poz will likely start at MLB and Jack will go to Otto because of the way Poz is playing and the desire to get Jack playing time.

As for what you said above, I agree.

The gap issues happened twice during the scrimmage, though I don't know if he took the wrong gap or was moved out of his gap.

He was good when he had ARob to throw to...Hmmmm

Myles Jack just appears to be a really nice human being. I like Ramsey a lot for obvious reasons, but Jack is different completely personality wise. No shade against Ramsey, so don't start with me! Smile

He appears to really really like Jacksonville as well. Team and City.

Dang it. Bullseye beat me to it.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

He was better, but not good. That was also his only year playing for Bill O'Brien.

If he throws none, people hate on our secondary. If he throws more, people hate on him. Clockwork.

Didn't Brees throw 4 consecutive interceptions to back ups last week?
