Jags workout Greg Hardy: Express no interest in signing now

#41

Quote:The Patriots had a great team prior to signing Randy Moss.

Last I checked Aquib Talib was a troublemaker in TB prior to being signed by the Pats and then the Broncos

Yup, we are in the same position as the patriots where we can take chances, to win a super bowl

Apparently we've been contemplating bringing Hardy in since spring.

Quote:He also does that to quarterbacks. Stop trying to be a moral soldier. You want dubs or losses?
We can get those dubs without him. I'm telling you. You bring this guy in, he won't be what you think. If he was so good, why did the Cowboys let him walk? Why is he still a FA?

Also, the fact that the Cowboys have big DE issues right now and never even gave this guy a look should say something. Who knows, maybe he all of a sudden is motivated.

Nothing to lose with this. I have a hard time understanding what people are moaning about. It's not like the NFL is played by boys from the choir.

If the man can rush the QB ... and isn't in prison, or suspended ... you pretty much always have to take a look.

No team wants the drama that he brings, but there is a reason why we're thinking about it. If he realizes this is his last chance and understands his worth, there's a big chance he stops being a locker room cancer. From a football perspective, there is barely any negatives to signing him.

We'd rather be a soft fan base and lose.

But the problem is, it's not just football. These guys are around each other 24/7. He's a terrible person who effects those around him. If it was just football, he wouldn't be a FA and would most likely have a high contract.

But the fact remains, the Cowboys have ZERO pass rush and they let him go.

If you can guarantee me that Hardy will get 12+ sacks then yeah maybe but he only had 6 last year in 12 games.

He's supposed to realize this is his last chance but he couldn't even realize what he did was wrong?

Some people on this board man. I know we wanna win but this team has a very good chance to win without that dude. Let him be someone else's drama queen.

<p class="">Jags were polling their staff and players in the spring on the thought of adding Hardy. Mulled this for a while.

The Cowboys also had a terrible roster on the defensive side of the ball. He would flourish with the players we have.

Im fine with it.. make it incentive laden and where if he acts out in any way we cut him... theres no downside.. if he starts being a problem... cut him.. simple as that. He knows this is his last chance... imagine if hes hungry and knows its his last chance and he gets back to that double digit sack monsterwith our already good Dline... you cant say no

They let him go because he was a cancer to the team. You act like he'll divide the team like the North and South... The dude will be cut if he starts his drama, and if he breaks this team that quick, well then we were super fragile and didn't have anything special to begin with. Our team isn't filled with pushovers, they're grown men that can handle themselves.

Exactly. It isn't hard to cut the guy. Just cut him if he wants to be a cancer to the team.

3 pages in just over 20 minutes, impressive.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
