Jags #3 scariest offensive personnel package

#21

What's scary to me Is the fact so many are loading Praise on this group when in fact they were wildly inconsistent last year. Now that might have had a lot to do with the blocking up front and I don't know that I have really seen any moves that make me think the offensive line will be that much better.

Don't get me wrong I enjoy hearing praise about our team however I must pause when I read something like this and just wonder if this is just another bandwagon writer.

I mean think about it moving our best guards at Center and possibly leaving a gap at guard and moving last year's left tackle to that possibly which is an experiment to say the least and then possibly trying to depend on a guy coming off an acl at left tackle.

All I am saying is not to put the horse before the cart because while there might be some skills players there are a ton of questions regarding the offensive line.

Quote:A running back and a TE with a combined total of 1,000 yards and 2 TD last season are scary?

At RB Hill had 800 yards and 11 TDs,Bernard had 730 yards and 2 TDs,500 yards receiving.Eifert had 650 yards and 13 Tds at TE. Aj green had 1,300 and 10 TDs. Pretty scary bunch.

Our new theme song at the bank just needs to be changed to "Ride of the Valkyries" already.

"What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing; Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king."

So we're even over the great Derek Carr and the Raiders? Well, I guess it is a Del Rio offense meaning they'll only ever be so explosive.

Where are the Falcons?

Meh Sanu and Marvin aren't that important. Lafell and Boyd will fill their roles pretty easily.

Although I am a teal drinking fanaholic, I would not put them at #3 just yet.

Uhhhh who was inconsistent? 2-1000+ Yard, 10+ td receivers were inconsistent? If that's true ill take that inconsistent everyday of the week.

I think jags have the potential to have the best 4 wideouts group in the league ... The best Tightend duo in the league... And the best rb duo in the league... A lot of potential..

Thats not even our most dangerous arrangement they put on the article

Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17
2016 draft players I think will be good
  • On the Fournette train, will be best back of his class 3/6/17
  • Lattimore please,  Lockdowns on both sides would be nice
  • Engram at TE and the MJD clone Samaje Perine

Our scary offense will depend on the Oline jelling and no real injuries

So glad the days of Jason Hill, Jarett Dillard, and Mike Thomas are over.

Thanks again, Dave.

If our young offensive players have a natural progression upward and limited injuires our offense will be very scary

Don't get me wrong I like the attention our offense is finally getting, but man I rather be the "didn't see them coming" team. All this exposure doesn't really give us the element of surprise.

I think we will still surprise people, including fans, next year, one way............................................. or the other.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Better to be lauded than jeered at as we've endured for a decade. But we haven't thrived under praise and expectation, so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Different era, different personnel, different Jags. Go get em lads.
Success is a journey, not a destination.  Go all out Mighty Jaguars.
