That's some godawful turf. The right guard has the same problem, he plants his foot and there is just zero grip there.

Seems like more an issue with cleats than the turf.

One player slipping is an issue with the cleats. Two players slipping makes me suspect the turf. Multiple players slipping including some who criticized the turf after the game: That's a turf problem.

The condition of the field was talked about a bit during the game. It's inexcusable that a brand new stadium like this can't have better field conditions.

There is a history of turf problems in that stadium.

This one details the problems they had Sunday, and shows a video clip of turf issues in a previous game.

Didn't the NFL make them replace their turf three different times this past season?

I remember the talking heads were saying several of the players were asking for different cleats because they couldn't get their footing on the turf.

Talk about being on skates.

Brand new stadiums hardly ever have proper turf. It simply takes a while for the ground crew to figure the best way to grow grass in each stadium.

They didn't even grow the grass in the stadium for the Super Bowl. It was it's own field they'd been tending to for like a year
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
