Quote:Great candidate to take over after Gus starts the season in a nosedive for the fourth year in a row.
haha...true. Although I'd rather bring Coughlin back.

yeah that could have been considered that at the time I'd say.

If we hire Schwartz, Mario is as good as ours.

Williams/Fowler/Marks/Miller/Odrick

Looks pretty good to me. I'd be really happy with Schwartz and Williams.

I may renew my tix just for the fact I could wear that awesome shirt.

If its Schwartz, Gus probably won't survive the whole season.

Gus could actually learn a lot from him though and improve as a HC.

The whole team could benefit.

We can only hope.

I'm not overly great at judging co-ordinators, do those more in the know think that Schwartz is probably the best available person? Obviously it was all terrible at the Lions, but his defence in Buffalo was great.

Apparently other teams floated the idea of pairing Schwartz with Marrone. I guess they got along well together in Buffalo? Hope that helps draw him to Jax.

Just like Marrone took over in 2015?

I'm just messing about, but I really don't get all of the "Bradley hiring his replacement" predictions. It makes zero sense to me.

Gotta be weird situation when 2 better guys are working for a moron.

Then again, I guess it's not that weird. It exists in every aspect of corporate America.

I'm simple to please. I just want a COMPETENT mind running the DEFENSE. A mediocre defense with this offense having another year of experience will make a playoff run.

Are you saying Olson isn't competent?

No. He isn't saying that. He is saying that even if our defense was just mediocre and not terrible, our offense is good enough to make a playoff run.

This. Just fat fingered the keyboard.

The Tennessee game was a microcosm of the bigger issue. How in God's name do you lose a game when you score 39 points? By allowing the opposing QB to run for a 90yd TD, that's how!
