We should be leading this division

It's a shame we're not. Myers makes some kicks this year, no snaps over the head and we're at the least tied for the lead.

Crazy to think about

Maybe, but let's not forget we were also gifted a win against Baltimore, faced Miami when they were at their lowest and played Buffalo when they were missing their three best players. 5-8 seems about right for this team.

Season's gonna be left up to Jags vs. Houston last game of the season.

If we'd played like we did this week earlier in the season we would be.

Keep the momentum going into next season, get some upgrades on defence and wow.

I agree with DF 5-8 seems about right, this is the first game where the team actually looked like they are better than their opponent.

A couple plays back and a different kicker other than Myers/Scobee. That might be the difference. Lets see what happens with the houston game in a couple weeks before we start feeling bad about missed opportunity

Can't wait to see whats next.

When you put it like that you're right. I think we will be really good next year.

I'm really excited about this team.

6 wins would be good progress this year. Especially considering how good the offense is looking now, we've got Dante (I'm so hyped to see him and Telvin on the field together) and Sen'Derrick to come back on the D and we have the most cap room in the league.

Dave said he was building a franchise that can sustain winning over a long period and we're on the way to doing that. Idiots like rocdee calling for him to be fired make me sick, Caldwell is building something special.

I need to see that this wasn't just an accident before I'm ready to get back on the Gus bus.

No pain, no gain.

There's no doubt in my mind we should be leading this division.  It was gifted to us.  This game was a good one for us.  Let's see what happens next Sunday.

The next 2 weeks are important.  Let's face it, we've still only won 5 games so far.  But if this team comes out the next 3 weeks, I don't see how we don't win out.

There is no such thing as 'keeping momentum going for next season'; however, I do agree that with some upgrades (important ones, I might add) then we shouldn't be bottom dwellers any more.

Considering the gift schedule with several games against backup QBs and three against rookies, 6 wins is pathetic, not progress. This win was great. But the three division losses were all due to lousy defensive play, and much of that is on the coaching.

A few less missed XPs would have helped, but Myers also won some games for us. I'd call that about middle of the road for placekicking in the NFL. I remember several seasons where we've had worse.
