Missouri football players to boycott until president Tim Wolfe resigns

I find it kind of ironic that these "protesters" are complaining about racism... then create so-called "black only safe zones".  Think about that for a second.

Nope.  It appears to be a deliberate race-baiting false flag attack.  It would not be unusual for such a deception to be directed from Chicago or D.C.  Now I wonder if the student who staged a hunger strike, Jonathan Butler, may have also been part of the deception.

Quote:Guns are a right and healthcare is not because the word life in the most important line in the history of our country is a very flexible word with partisan interpretation.

When you start mandating that the government must fund my rights and exercise of self defense, speech, press, and religion then I'll agree that it should fund your healthcare, college, house, and food.

That way all our rights will be equal.

It does, the DoI is quite clear on the matter of where/who those rights come from. On this board we cannot talk about the foundation of the vast majority of what drives our lives. That makes politics a difficult thing to discuss here because the ultimate driver cannot be included in why we do the things we do.

Moreover, rights are the things that we are born WITH and should not be INFRINGED.  In the case of Healthcare or education that requires the forcible taking of goods or services from another individual.  I mean this as tactfully as possible, we should all know this!

Look, we have a right to whatever we want to have the government take from other people.

You all think so little of this country that you think we can't and shouldn't do better as a nation. You'll defend the idea of American exceptionallism but you clearly don't actually believe in it.

You are out of line here.  The people that oppose your view love this country as much as you.  Your idea of exceptionalism may be different from theirs it does not however make them less passionate about their feelings concerning this great nation.  That open parachute and the mind concept that I see liberals espousing goes both ways.

I always felt the idea of "American exceptionalism" was nothing more than a bully's creed.  The rules don't apply to us because...'Merica.

The idea that we should all be unified as one and no prejudices should abound is absurd. We are different! Canadians are different than Peruvians. Chinese are different than Spaniards. It's normal because we are different with different musical tastes, different cuisines, different values.

The issue is to embrace the differences without impinging upon other's lives or their pursuit of happiness. When the pursuits of happiness conflict with each other is when compromise in necessary backed by legislation. In all matters of life, speak the truth and acknowledge the opinions of others.
