Week Four Inactives

#1

Finally we're able to get a good read on who the seven inactives will be. The first six appear certain with the last one debatable...

Denard Robinson

Sen'Derrick Marks

Julius Thomas

Marquis Lee

Brandon Linder

Sergio Brown

Peyton Thompson

I'm convinced the final player will be a healthy scrub.
Thompson has played admirably the last two weeks, but with all the DBs back healthy he appears to be weakest link at a rather stacked defensive backfield even without Sergio.

Other players I'm wondering about for that last spot are Bowanko, Chris Smith (with Branch making his debut) and John Lotulelei. I wondered if Michael Bennett might be a candidate, but with Roy Miller playing on a sore knee they probably want Bennett ready. I also considered Tony Washingon who was just brought up from the PS, but Im realizing he's now one of only four healthy WRs with the others being ARob, Hurns and Walters. Meanwhile, I don't see Nic Jacobs missing a game as long as Julius Thomas is out. A long shot to sit might be Bernard Pierce, but they're starting to like him on special teams. I can't think of anyone else.

I really hope Sergio plays.

With Brown out, look for Thompson to be active again.

I'm going to guess L-Bo.

I would say that your list is probably spot on at the moment.

It bothers me to have picked up some Vet DBs and they start getting hurt and play is limited. On top of the injuries of a lot of other play that were supposed to make an impact for the team. Like JT. Did he break his hand or what. How long will he ride this injury or is he just gonna ride the money train this year and then use learning the offense next year to be unproductive. You would think with Fowler being so young he could at least heal and go through some limited practice. For goodness sakes he went down in the very first Rookie practice. I wonder if he was already having knee trouble before he came into the NFL??? Just saying or he could be overrated.

This post is exactly what I hate. People spewing a bunch of hate when you literally have no knowledge. You really think fowler can practice after tearing an ACL only a few months ago? And yes JT had a fracture in a finger/hand and isn't milking anything. Jeez people learn to research a little before making yourself look ignorant.

Brackens? We re-signed Tony Brackens and he's playing today?

A perfect example of someone who is ignorant and has low football intelligence. You would think everyone knew we put Dante Fowler on injured reserve because there is zero chance of being cleared to practice after tearing an AOL.

LOL. I'll have to edit that. Of course I meant Branch...must have started with the Br and then my subconscious took over.

Hope Branch/Davis/Clem light it up. Along with Odrick being in Matt's ear hole all day

According to NFLNetwork, aside from Andrew Luck, TE Dwayne Allen and G Todd Terremans are among the Colts' inactives today.

I noticed Luke Joeckel is not on that list. That means we will only miss one offensive lineman. Too bad it is our best one.

We are in big trouble if our backup right guard struggles against their defensive line.
