We Have To Get Grant More Touches.....

Quote:Grant is overrated by many. He has straight line speed, but does not make defenders miss and goes down way too easily.

He's good in Madden though.

Quote:SCREENS! I've been saying this forever, get Grant involved. If he sees daylight it will be huge yards gained or TD. Throw him RB screens and WR screens. Use him somehow.
This team runs so many screens that they're honestly getting sniffed out pretty easy.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Agreed. Pierce is the better back. He should get the touches before Grant does.

I think Grant needs to change his gloves and get some that have more sticky on them.

You'd think that Grant is the best-equipped to run the plays designed for DRob (while he's out) but they don't seem to want to give him that role.

I'm not too disappointed, because (as someone has already pointed out) that means more touches for Yeldon, but if you wanted that change of pace, then he's your man.

I say we give the guy averaging 3.2 yards per carry more touches. Maybe he'll have a breakout game and get up to a scorching 3.4.

I have followed Grant for 5 years now. I was stunned we sent him on a long pass.

Grant has straight line speed for KO or bubble screens. He is also good for end arounds.

Remember if he was a true RB do you not think he would not have been the feature back st Auburn.

Auburn has had the SEC top rusher for 2 years. He was just not good enough.

They are running 3 or 4 routes for him every game. I thought it was odd too.

They wouldn't be sending out those plays in a game if he didnt show he could do it consistently in practice so I don't see a problem.

Ha. And there's your problem. According to Gus, the jags always do great in practice. They just can't carry it over to the games that matter... Something smells funny here, but keep carrying the faith.

I mean its fine to question a team's decisions obviously, its your right as a fan. However, making baseless claims about the fact that Grant can't catch because he missed one ball in a game is a little silly. If Grant showed that he couldn't catch in practice they wouldnt use that play in the game with him running that route. It makes no sense. No matter how bad Gus is nobody is that bad. I don't have a lot of faith in Gus, however in this situation I doubt the claims you guys are making hold any weight.

Denard is good, Grant will have to do for now he has speed and Yeldon has got to share time with somebody. I thiink he bounces around to much. He has great movement after the hole but he moves to much before the hole. He should be sharing time with Toby to attack with 2 different styles.

Grant is as useful as a glass cannon. Lots of fun to look at, but the second you touch it, it falls to the ground harmlessly.
