This cracks me up that you would even consider this kind of celebration in the midst of a 8 and 26 run lol

Who? Marrone? Olson? Babich? There is no better option than Bradley on this team's payroll. Ride it out with him, and either the team shows some real progress as the year goes on or we have a new coach before New Year's Day.

Really? I am not in the boat of fire Gus yet, but Marrone has actually had a winning season as a HC.

I haven't even cracked a smile; cause i know thay Gus would emphasize the many lessons to be learned in this loss and he'd be completely correct. This game should work to form a proverbial callus for this team and harden the young team going forward.

Nonsense. An interim coach couldn't possibly do better... The apologists need to open their eyes. This team is so poorly prepared my local high school coach could do better.

Apologist? No. I wouldn't mind a new coach in 2016, but let me paint a few pictures for you:

First picture: Bradley turns it around, we end up close to .500 with renewed hope and Bradley parlays what he learned this year into a playoff run next.

Second picture: We finish 3-13 again, Bradley is fired and we draft at the very top of the first round again to land an impact player for our new coach.

Third picture: We fire Bradley during the season, Marrone comes in and leads the team to a 6-10 record and a 10-15 pick, then is let go in favor of a better coach anyway.

I like picture one the most, but consider picture two to be the most realistic. Picture three is a mess that could set the team back another couple of years.

Did anybody expect the entire game to be competitive?

In all seriousness, im glad the team competed in the 1st half. Blake's INT killed the momentum we had.

Ugh!  Third year of the rebuild and the defense stinks!

I like Gus and feel badly for him.  Caldwell is a better GM than Smith, obviously.  But, it's like the franchise has a curse! This defense ought to be competing with anyone (even the champs!) by now.  But the results it gives suck no less than three years ago.

I agree with this.  The best option going forward is number 2 - keep Gus and draft in the top 3 again.  An interim HC could screw things up and get us a few meaningless wins.
