It is a young man's game.  I think Scobee will be just fine in Pittsburgh, but I think GM Dave Caldwell made a good business choice of going with the young kicker, gaining a sixth round draft pick, and not having to pay Scobee crazy money next year.

Generally speaking, it's a bad thing if every player that leaves your team goes on to become an all-pro elsewhere. That says something about your coaching staff, so be happy that Eugene Monroe isn't making Ravens fans forget Jonathan Ogden, and that Jason Babin didn't have a late-career renaissance.
