Still can't? Gerhard usually converts on 4th and one or two. It's getting three or more yards on any given down that's his problem.

Yeldon will start. Robinson will be the change of pace guy with screens and what not maybe. Gerhart/Pierce can decide who wants to be the short yardage/goal line help.

What is it exactly you see in Toby Gerhart????? I'm willing to give him a few preseason games to show something but cmon, it's just not there. If we keep him over Pierce or Storm I think we are making a mistake. I know he's pretty versatile but he has no vision, unless he gets a gaping whole he just runs right into the line of scrimmage.

 

The only thing I can think of is that they hope he can do for TJ Yeldon what he did for AP as a blocking FB / half-back type player.
