Such bad clock management by pretty much every coach these days. No reason SF gets the ball here.

Yeah, lions coach has done mostly great, but why immediately call time out when it's fourth down and goal?

It makes you wonder if the Jags has missed the playoffs last year instead of sneaking in, as what happened to the Lions, if they would have entered this year with more fire and focus.

I know there were personnel issues, injuries, and other reasons for the Jags 23 season, but it often seemed focus and locking in was one of those.

Yea, in the off-season they got the big head reading their press clippings. It showed.  I am sure Doug and company took notes. This off season those notes will be acted on.

After the joint practice session reports I really thought we would be where they are.

This needs to stay with the Lions. No 2nd half comeback by the 49ers. Let the Lions have this.

I know it wasn’t a gimme FG attempt but that decision to go for it on 4th&2 is a game losing type of decision.

Not bothering to catch the interceptions thrown to the Lions is another problem.

Here we go. That 2nd half comeback story. I have a feeling they are going to try to screw the Lions over in the 4th quarter somehow.

Of course Purdy gets bailed out due to fluke [BLEEP] luck... Per usual.

And that's how the NFL controls the outcomes, just a little whisper in the ref's earphone to pick up the flag on an OPI call and BOOM! we got a game!

I watched a video on Jags youtube channel a few weeks ago. It was Oesher, Bucky Brooks and maybe Pete Prisco. They kept saying how the team kept waiting for something to happen but it never did. This was said every week after the Ravens game by the team/players. They kept waiting. Like they were being passive.

I'm thinking, stop waiting for something to happen and put the work in to make it happen.

Another thing the guys discussed was how Pederson is likely going back to basics because there were a lot of offensive breakdowns, miscues, etc., that seemed to be a result of the players not understanding some of the plays. Honestly, this makes me think of the times TLaw and Ridley were not in synch. Then you had the delay of game penalties and time outs taken due to miscommunication.

Hopefully they do whatever needs to be done to improve things or Pederson will lose fan support and things will get ugly.

Lord, I hope this isn’t the beginning of the implosion.
