Apparently there was a pretty big brawl at the Conch House in St. Augustine on Sunday. Isn't this where MoJo had his little altercation ?

Yes it is.
Sounds like that place has some pretty overzealous security guards.

The MJD incident happened at the same restaurant on the same day.  I was out there shortly after the fire and rescue arrived.  It was bedlam.

It appears that way on the video. I found a better one, the complete unedited version and it does look like they are a bit over the top. A bunch of them too.
I saw a good chunk of the video last night.  I will say they are a bit over the top, but with a drunk of people that appear to be sticking up for each other, they may have no other choice.

At the point it got to, it looks like they should have shut the place down and cleared everyone out for the day.

Geesh. If MJD actually did what he was accused of to the bouncer, I can see why. It looked like a MMA free for all.
Note to self...stay away from the Conch House on major holiday weekends!!

I've been there a few times myself. Lots of female apparatus bags there..
This may help MJD in the civil suit case. Certainly can't hurt.

Security is walking around sucker punching the patrons (drunk patrons too). Some of the smaller security guys picked on the women.

MJD is probably thinking "I told you so"

I have a co-worker who lives in St. Auggie and reps it hard, I'm gonna give him so much crap for this.

Orange is the new black and blue.

They should just rename this place The Conched out House, the way people are getting knocked out in there.

Alcohol and a bunch of cocky males running around, what could go wrong?

I'd love to see the background checks on some of these "security guards."  There's a point in the video where they almost seem to be baiting people.  They should have been acting quickly to diffuse the situation, but they were doing pretty much the exact opposite.  Regardless of whether the clientele is intoxicated or not, you don't go around basically daring people to do something so you can deck them.

I've seen Roadhouse enough times to know that a good bouncer needs to expect the unexpected, always take it outside, and most importantly, be nice.

Obviously there is an issue with the culture of that place. That those security people feel like they have the right to just beat the crap out of people.

Agreed.  I'm not sure why people continue to go there, particularly for Reggae Sundays when they know this is the likely outcome.  Still, the place is packed on Sundays.

And apparently it doesn't hurt to look really great in a pair of tight jeans...least that's what I remember from that movie! :whistling:

I've been there many times and have never seen a fight. Maybe there are a lot of fights, but this is just one video.

Not uncommon to see fights at Jaguar games. I know I've seen a few.

I dunno. It's kind of fun to watch Rico and StuperFan try and drink paint.
