Quote:Someone probably said this Already, but next year, when we should really be ready to start contending and will spend a good amount of money in FA AGAIN, we'll also go into the season with 2 new first round picks.

We had two first round picks last year with Boetles and a returning Joeckel, and you see how that turned out

Yes, but the law of averages says that one of these years, it has to work!
Don't you always have 2 first round payers each year?

Unless one of them is Blackmon...

Leonard Williams was the best overall player. 5 teams did needs based drafting rather than taking the stud right in front of them. Just my opinion.

Leonard could get hurt but he's not. Florida defensive players work out how many times? This is the 3rd defensive player we've taken from that school in the 1st round in the past 10 years...

The other 2... Reggie Nelson and Derrick Harvey. Just sayin
The only silver lining to this situation is he'll have 15 months of recovery time under his belt before he plays his first game in 2016. I'd rather have a guy tear an ACL now than in the last game of the year during a 3-13 season the way Marks did.
Quote:I never said it wasn't a huge injury. I only mentioned that he has a very good chance of returning to where he was pre injury. I'm not sure what we're arguing at this point.

Melvin played his rookie year and was underwhelming. But he did have his best year last year a full year removed from his injury. We didn't get a chance to see Fowler play as a rookie so if he bombs we'll never know if he just wasn't any good or if his ACL injury set him back. That question will never be answered.

We get it, Jesus. Extremely well made point Dr. Livingston. Lighten up

I don't think you guys actually believe this stuff

UF homers will stir up dust again... Facts are hard to handle.

What facts?

Do you read the whole post or just the first line?

Good lord that is a dumb post.

Besides, Williams would've been a bust anyway, R Jay Soward was from USC.

My post even ended with IMO for the part that was opinion.... The fact is pretty easy to point out to most.

Suggestion - change your handle to Frank Gore, it'll make it easier for people to understand what challenge we are up against... Wink

USC is a bust factory for WRs over the past decade plus. Can't really say that about DL guys (Everson Griffen for 1)
Your opinion is dumb

In case you have haven't noticed. The players they have drafted from nearly every school since 2007 have not worked out. Missouri, Arizona, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Auburn...

RIP Nelson Agholor

I love how everything is a dumb post but it has more reasoning behind it than your (smart?) post.

This is the 3rd first rounder we've taken from the defensive side of the ball from UF. Maybe the 3rd times a charm! Lol

fair enough that the Jags under Gene were awful... A plus.

Agholor is a prime example. Touché

What's the reasoning? Superstition?
