A perfect example of a misleading statement. We traded up from #16 to pick Blaine Gabbert. Also, Gene Smith tried to trade down the previous year to get a second round pick, but had no takers.
The only way I see us ending the streak tonight is Cleveland wants to trade up for Marcus Mariota. There is a rumor they want to do that with the #2 pick.

So did La'el Collins, who had to leave the draft temporarily for legal reasons and fly back to Chicago. I would say that is a lot worse than Shane Ray being there.
I guess I was just saying that cuz my understanding is Shane has almost zero chance of being selected tonight, so why do that to yourself?

Shane Ray has been projected as a top 10 pick the whole time, right? At least he was before I took a break from posting here. We all know marijuana possession by itself does not knock an elite talent out of the first round.
