Seattle and New England... hmmm... both have a lot of seafood

For example New England is known for Lobster...

You could do Lobster rolls, lobster bisque (cheaper), or as an app.

For Seattle (Salmon) like a dip if going with Lobster Roll as a main dish, or smoked Salmon.

When the Giants were in it, I ate a 6-inch ham and cheese sub from Subway during the game because Justin Tuck is in the company's commercials.

The same thing happened last year with Papa John's pizza (extra cheese, pineapple, mushrooms, and bell peppers) because of Peyton Manning.

Salmon would be perfect for the Seahawks! Seattle has something called "the salmon locks" to maintain a healthy population of the fish where a bridge was built. I was there in 2007.

North of Boston, in a town called Gloster, is a famous statue called Man at the Wheel. It is a memorial for all of the fishermen who died during a certain time period. So I think of fish, not lobster, for New England.

Gloucester....
I have to do field work. I guess I could chew on a grape stake.

Thanks for the correction. I was there so long ago I forgot how to spell it.

I don't know how a grape stake tastes but my wife's dolmades are to die for. ;-)

Like a hunk of redwood.

What the heck is a dolmade?

Richard Sherman has a beef jerky and a soup commercial out right now, maybe that's your Super Bowl meal.

No Manning this year, so how can you have pizza again?

Well in that case you should eat some clam chowda because the Patriots are going to win.

Grape leaves stuffed with risotto, sausage (some versions don't inculde this ingredient) and fetta cheese. Yummy! It's a Greek dish.

Dang, I should know that, I have my leaves harvested every year for that purpose. I never knew what they were called though haha.

When my wife brings it to a pot-luck, it's usually the first thing gone.
ramen or salt soup depending on funds. I hope they have some good radio commercials this year!
Domino's Pizza and Miller Light #TheGoodLife

steak and shrimp (grilled)

we are going alcohol free

If I had my druthers I'd be having some bratwursts and BBQ chicken. For snacks I'd have some white cheddar popcorn and some pickles wrapped with ham and cream cheese

Brats sound good to me too!

I've got a few things going on...

I want to brine some ribs and then cook them up in the smoker. I don't typically do a lot of barbecue sauce with smoked ribs.

Since the smoker will be going, I'm gonna have to throw some wings in there as well. And that also means that I'm going to have to make some new sauces. I got a pretty good garlic Sriracha sauce, but I want to try to make a Ginger/Asian style sauce. Just not  teriyaki.

Will probably do baked jalapenos stuffed with a Gouda/cream cheese combination as well.

As for dessert, I'm going to try "mug" brownies. Just put brownie mix into a coffee mug, microwave for about a minute and serve! The formulae are as follows:
  • 4 tablespoons brownie mix / 2 tablespoons water - 1 minute
  • 6 tablespoons brownie mix / 3 tablespoons water - 1:15
  • 8 tablespoons brownie mix / 4 tablespoons water - 1:30

Can I come to your house? ;-)
I'm having whatever is being served where I'm going. I don't know where that is yet but I'm sure it'll be good times. Hopefully my brother's house, but may end up with the in-laws.
